The film was cleared by the CBFC a few weeks ago with a UA certificate. CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi had said that the board had asked the producers "to add a disclaimer, which clearly clarifies that the film does not attempt to subscribe or glorify the practice of Sati in any way ". Joshi said that the changes in these suggestions "fully agree with the filmmakers - the film's producer and director". Accepting these suggestions by CBFC, the film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali will now be named Padmavat.
